02. HOW TO MEMORIZE-DELETE BLAST BT/VEGA BT IN A RECEIVER
01. With a transmitter already memorized, brings the motor that you want to program in an intermediate position.
02. Press PROG of this transmitter for 5 seconds. The motor performs 2 upward movements.
03. Within 15 seconds, press P1 of BLAST BT / VEGA BT until the confirmation movement of the motor (1 to 10
seconds).
04. 1 upward movement: device stored!!
1 downward movement: device deleted!!
2 downward movements: error!! (*)
(*) "error" is reported if the radio code is not received in time, if the receiver's memory is full, if you try to
store in the receiver a not compatible devices
WARNING:
some motor/receiver can have a different procedure from the one described above. In this case follow the section "Memorization/cancellation of the radio device" on the user manual
of the motor/receiver.
WARNING:
to verify that the sensor is properly memorized, bring the tuned receivers in an intermediate position, rotate rapidly the cups of the anemometer to simulate the condition of "wind
alarm". The tuned receivers have to move upward and the manual controls must be inhibited. To exit the condition of "wind alarm", press any button of the sensor until the LEDs light
up briefly, then release the button.
WARNING:
if the receiver remains without power supply, at power up the sensor and the receiving device can take up to 10 minutes to re-establish communication radio.
03. WIND FUNCTION
If the wind speed is above the set threshold for at least 3 seconds, an upward movement is commanded to protect the
awning (wind alarm). During this phase all manual commands are disabled. The device exits from the "wind alarm"
if the wind speed keeps below the set threshold for at least 8 minutes. During the installation it's possible exit from
"wind alarm" by pressing any button on the body of the radio sensor for about 3 seconds, until the LEDs light up briefly,
then release the button. The wind threshold is varying from 10 km/h to 35 km/h (step of 5 Km/h). The factory sets the
wind threshold at 15 Km/h (threshold 2). To modify the threshold:
01. Press P1 for about 3 seconds until the LED 1 starts flashing.
02. LED1 indicates the current threshold (see Tab.1).
03. Within 10 seconds, press P1 briefly and quickly the number of times equal to the desired threshold (see Tab. 1).
04. Wait 10 seconds. LED1 indicates the new threshold (see Tab.1)
04. SUN FUNCTION (VEGA BT only)
An automatic downward manoeuvre is performed if the intensity of the sun is above the set threshold for at least 2.5
minutes. An automatic upward manoeuvre is performed when the intensity of the sun returns to less then the set
threshold for at least 18 minutes. Once performed an automatic downward manoeuvre for the presence of sun, the
subsequent automatic operation performed by the sensor will be an upward manoeuvre for to the absence of sun and so
on. The user can operate the awning, but the manual control doesn't affects the operating logic of the sun sensor. The
sun threshold is variable from 1 to 45 Klux. The factory sets the threshold to 15 Klux (threshold 3).
To modify the sun threshold:
01. Press P2 for about 3 seconds until the LED 2 starts flashing.
02. LED2 indicates the current threshold (see Tab.2).
03. Within 10 seconds, press P2 briefly and quickly the number of times equal to the desired threshold (see Tab. 2).
04. Wait 10 seconds. LED2 indicates the new threshold (see Tab.2)
05. BATTERY
05.1 Information about battery
The battery life is estimated to be at least 3 years in standard conditions of temperature and humidity. However, you
must consider the fact that the battery life can be reduce in particular conditions of use. Where available, it is
strongly recommended to keep active, in the radio receivers tuned to the sensor, the "Test radio" function. If, due to
the gradual depletion of the battery, the transmission range of sensor is no longer enough to reach a tuned receiver,
the "Test Radio" of the receiver periodically (about every 30 minutes) rewinds the awning, bringing it in safe position
and providing a visible indication of the need to check the radio sensor and eventually replace the battery.
While waiting for the necessary checks by an authorized technician, you can temporarily disable the "Test Radio" as
described on the installation manuals of the receivers. To check the battery status:
01. Press simultaneously P1 and P3 for at least 5 seconds until the LEDs flash according to the state of charge of the
battery (see Tab. 3)
05.2 Replacement of the battery
Battery replacement must be performed by an authorized technician, following all applicable safety standards. Contact an authorized installer for the replacement battery.
Because of the conditions of use of the sensor, the temperature inside the sensor can reach high values . Inadequate batteries may cause fire or explosion. The battery must be
replaced by an equivalent type. The old battery must be disposed of in the appropriate containers. After replacing the battery is required to perform a verify of the system. In the event
that the system does not work, set the switch to OFF (1), wait a few seconds, return the switch to ON and check that the LED1 lights up briefly, and then redo the verify operation of the
sensor. In cases where receivers have disabled the "Test Radio", you should re-enable it. How to replace the battery:
01. Remove the closing cover
02. Slide the switch to OFF (1)
03. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new battery supplied by the manufacturer of the sensor.
04. Slide the switch to ON
05. Replace the closing cover
All products and technical characteristics on this document are subjects to variations without any notice. Except for concessions and specific case agreed in advance with the manufacturer, the device must be used
only with receiving devices of the same manufacturer.
