4.2 - displacement and transport
WARNING: always disconnect the power supply before moving the mixer; every displacement must be
performed with the drum unloaded.
For little moving: set the lever of the motor frame on the "locked" position (see fig. 1) and move the mixer by holding the tipping handle
as shown in fig. 2.
For average moving: hold the support leg and tipping handle and move asshown in fig. 3.
Position the machine horizontal on a firm base (maximum allowable transversal slope 5°, as shown in fig. 4);
The mixer doesn't have any breaking system, so no longitudinal slope is allowed (Fig. 5). Incase of doubt, for imperceptible
inclinations, make use of wedges under the wheels (see Fig. 6).
If the cement mixering subjected to wind gusts, it must be anchored to the
ground or to a solid body and stable
During the transportation ensure that accident prevention regulations are complied with: the mixer must not tip over!
5 – ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Check that the supply voltage is the same as that reported on the identification table and check cable diameters.
The mixer fitted with an AC motor must be connected to the mains (220-230V) by a three-core rubber insula- ted cable of type
H07RN-F, with a minimum 1.5 cross-section for each conductor. The cable must not to be longer than 50 m.
On construction sites or in the event of inefficient mains earthling plants, connect the mixer directly by means of the earth screw and a
earth wire cable or braid with a minimum section of 16 mm2 (see fig. 7).
Ensure that the power feed line is fitted with a differential protection device upstream.
6- USE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not allow other people to remain in the vicinity of the machine during working.
WARNING:
- Always switch off the machine before leaving it.
- The machine must only be transported or positioned with the motor switched off and with the drum unloaded.
- Connect the machine to the power supply. Start the mixer.
- Gradually introduce water, cement and aggregate. Do not start the machine fully loaded.
