and BMP8). This kit includes the upgrade application for creating original cutwork patterns with the
embroidery design software Palette Version 9.2 with Cutwork.
Before using this kit, carefully read this Installation Guide, and then refer to the manuals downloaded
using the Certification Key Issuing Wizard. In addition, after you have finished reading the manuals, store
them where they can be easily accessed for future reference.

• The cutwork functions can be used with upgraded Baby Lock multi-needle embroidery machines (except
EMP6, BMP6, and BMP8). Using machines incompatible with cutwork may result in injuries or damage
to the machine. For the most recent list of models compatible with cutwork, contact your nearest
authorized Baby Lock retailer.
