Inserting the micro USB plug
WARNING: Before connecting the cable's micro USB side to your tablet, please ask your parents' or an
adult's help. Do not install the cable on your own. Do not force entry as you might damage the fragile
micro USB plug.
Insert the micro USB plug into the micro USB port. Make sure the pins (longer side) are facing up just as
illustrated below.
Note to parents:
Please make sure your child inserts the plug the right way.
The toy is only to be connected to Class II
equipment bearing the following symbol.
WARNING: Mal-function or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic
discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, reset the unit, or unplug the cable and plug it in again. If the
problem persists, read the instructions carefully to ensure that nothing has been omitted.
Inserting the mini USB plug
Insert the mini USB plug into the piano mat's mini USB port. Make sure the pins on the longer side are facing
up as illustrated below.

There are three playing modes: Free Play, Practice and Game. In each of these modes, you have a choice
of six instruments: piano, trumpet, saxophone, xylophone, electric guitar, and reggae organ. The piano is the
default instrument. To select another instrument, press the option button
Notes: In the free play mode and in the game mode, you can either use the keyboard displayed on the
tablet or the piano mat. In the practice mode, you can only use the piano mat. The piano mat does not
include any sound-related hardware. Sound responses will be played by the tablet.
