Special safety instructions
The tower fan is not a toy. Keep children and
pets at a safe distance from the tower fan.
The packaging can be dangerous to children
and so should be kept away from them. The
packaging should be disposed of at the local
recycling station in accordance with the
applicable rules.
The tower fan must not be exposed to
extreme temperatures, heat sources and
direct sunlight, excessive vibration, moisture
and water, gases, vapours and fl ammable
solvents.
The tower fan must not be exposed to
mechanical stress.
Handle the tower fan with care. If it is
exposed to a bang or knock or is dropped
from even a low height, it may be damaged.
Before using the tower fan, you must ensure
that it is properly assembled and that the
local supply voltage corresponds to the
voltage shown on the tower fan's rating
plate.
The tower fan may be used by children
over 8 years old and people with reduced
sensitivity, physical or mental disability, as
long as they are supervised or have been
instructed in the use of equipment in a
safe manner and have thus understood the
associated risks.
