6- Release the locking lever (9), lower the machine to the ground and connect the driveshaft (7).

Mowing

1- Make sure the safety device is working (1) before starting your work.
2- Check the shields and latches to make sure they are properly assembled and repair any parts which
may be worn out or damaged.
3- Put in the right gear and speed for obtaining the best mowing performance.
4- Change any worn blades. Sharp blades provide betting mowing.
5- Before beginning the mowing, the drums (14) must be
rotating full speed (540 RPM from the power take-off) in
order to assure good performance.
6- The spring (6) reduces the support pressure from the
ground. It actuates between the head and head and the
lifting bar.
The pressure sustains the intermediate structures in the
horizontal position:
NOTE: When working on rocky terrain, it is possible to reduce the pressure on the machine applied to
the ground by assembling the spring to the lower hole. This way, it decreases the wear on the drum
blades.

Adjusting the mowing height

1- Adjust the arm of the third point to the tractor so that the Drum Mower is in the correct operating
height, which is in a horizontal position or slightly tilted forwards.
This way the shoes work more efficiently. The mowing height can be changed (lowered) using the third
arm to the tractor connecting point.
CAUTION: In order to avoid wasting fodder, never tilt the machine backwards.
2- In case you are working on sloped terrains, the Drum Mower must always on the higher side.
