DESCRIPTION:
The MER 2T/2TN is a static, single-phase electric power meter that
combines an imported active power meter and a tariff-control system in
a single unit.
The MER 2T/2TN performs direct reading of the imported active power
and is suitable for time discrimination, with the recording of up to two
maximum values. Precision class 2 for active power in accordance with
UNE-EN 62053-21.
Main specifications:
1. It records consumption of total imported active power, displaying it
in kWh on a six-digit display unit.
2. Time discrimination.
3. It records maximum demanded power for different periods:
P1 andP2.
4. Period closing in manual mode by means of a sealable pushbutton.

PROGRAMMING THE DATE AND TIME
The MER 2T/2TN allows the programming of the date and time
parameters by using the "INFO"· and "CLOSE" buttons. Programming is
protected by sealing off access to the "CLOSE" button.
Accessing date and time programming mode
In order to access date and time programming mode, the "CLOSE"
button has to be continually pressed for more than two seconds.
Warning. If this is not carefully followed, it is possible to perform an
undesired period close operation if the "CLOSE" is not continually
pressed for at least two seconds.
Correct access to the programming mode is indicated by the clock
symbol appearing on the display.
Once the programming mode is accessed, the year, month, day of the
month, hour, minute and second data can be entered in this same
order. The data to be programmed flashes every half second and allows
the "INFO" button to be pressed to increase the value, while the
"CLOSE" button will accept the new value and access the next one. The
data are modified in tens-units sequence, in other words the tens are
changed first, followed "CLOSE" to validate it and then the units.
Warning. If all the data are not validated, including the units, then the
programmed date and time will not be modified.
Programming the date
The date programming screen is then displayed in the format dd.mm.yy,
with the programming order being year, month and day of the month.
Inconsistent date programming is not allowed and automatic correction
will take place.
