1) Cleaning the bottle
Before using the Water Filter Bottle for the first time, clean the bottle
without the MicroDisc with a mild detergent or in the dishwasher.
Clean the Water Filter Bottle regularly by hand or in the dishwasher
. Before cleaning remove the MicroDisc and store it on a

clean surface during the cleaning process. To ensure an optimum
level of hygiene, we recommend placing the MicroDisc in a clean
cup every week and pouring boiling water over it. If the MicroDisc
floats to the surface, use a spoon to hold the MicroDisc to the
bottom of the cup. After five minutes, you can reinstall the MicroDisc
into the water filter. Please make sure that your hands are clean
when touching the disc and bottle.
2) Preparing the MicroDisc
Take the MicroDisc out of the packaging. Before using the MicroDisc
for the first time, soak the MicroDisc in warm water for 1 minute to
remove any carbon dust that may be present and to optimize
water flow.
