Before leaving our factory all our products are rigorously tested. For this rea-
son your Vaporella contains a small quantity of water and on first use we
recommend that you do not add further water until all existing water in the tank
has been exhausted and allowed to escape as steam.

1. Unscrew the patented safety cap (A) and fill the boiler
with about 0.9 litres of ordinary tap water using the
special funnel (I) making sure that it does not overflow
(fig. 1).
2. Retighten the cap fully and carefully.
3. Connect the power supply cable (D) into an earthed
power supply of the correct voltage (230V - 240V).
4. Switch on the boiler and iron by pressing the switches
(B) and (C) which will light up (fig. 2).

5. Set the iron temperature to the "COTTON - LINEN" steam
position (fig. 3), by turning the knob (G). All types of fab-
ric can be ironed at this temperature.
When dry ironing, set the knob (G) to the required tem-
perature for the fabric, shown on the rotating indicator.
