The DIAMOND ACTIVE LITE is ideal for gentle cooking with the lid on. This reduces steam loss to a
minimum. Vegetables, meat and fish retain their characteristic flavour, as well as their form and
colour. Vitamins and trace elements are retained. This healthy style of food preparation is similar to
the steaming method.
The patented lid locking mechanism is easy to use and its special silicon gasket ensures that the pot
has an airtight seal. A regulator valve keeps the pressure constant in the pot, with the result that
temperatures in excess of 100 °C / 212 °F can be reached. This reduces the cooking and boiling time
by up to 50%*. Also far less liquid is lost through steam evaporation thanks to the silicon gasket,
which reduces energy consumption by up to 70%*.
DIAMOND ACTIVE LITE also sets new standards with regard to safety: Boiling over is guaranteed to
be a thing of the past thanks to the patented ball valve, and due to limited pressure it's easy to take
off the lid.
