Using the Answering Machine

Using the Answering
Machine
The answering machine can record
messages totalling up to 15 minutes in
length. A message can be up to one
minute long.
The answering machine is
automatically enabled after
connecting the base station.

Playing back messages

If there are any messages recorded on the
answering machine then the number of
messages appears on the display. If new
messages have been recorded the "
symbol flashes on the handset displays.
The "New message" LED on the base
station lights up.
In order to play back the messages,
press the "
" button on the base
station.
To decrease the playback volume press
the "–" button.
To increase the playback volume press
the "+" button.
To play back the next message press
the " |" button.
To play back the previous message
press the "| " button.
To delete a message press the "⊗"
button.

You can also play back answering
machine messages on the handset.
Proceed as follows:
Press the MENU key.
Choose the "Answ. machine" menu.
Press the MENU key.
Select the "Mess. playback" sub-menu.
Press the MENU key.
The handset loudspeaker is then enabled.
You will hear an announcement stating
the number of new messages.
The messages will be played back in
succession.
The display will show the number of the
message currently being played back and
the date and time the call was received.
Press number 2 on the keypad to start
"
or end message playback.
Press number 4 on the keypad during
playback to listen to the message again.
Press number 4 on the keypad during
the date and time announcement in
order to listen to the previous message.
Press number 6 on the keypad to play
back the following message.
Press number 5 on the keypad during
playback in order to delete a message.
After pressing a number key you will hear
a confirmation.
