2. Press S3 button to start the
calibration.
3. When the message "2-TURN" is
displayed, a series of moving dots
will be displayed at the rim of the
display and increase in clockwise
direction. Rotate the watch
horizontally in counter-clockwise
direction in order to freeze the last
moving blinking dot to stay at 12-
hour position.
4. When the watch is rotated
completely for 360 degrees, the
message "1-TURN" will be
displayed. Rotate the watch again
in counter-clockwise direction.
5. To interrupt and stop the calibration,
press S4 button. The message
"DISTORT" will be displayed and
the watch will return to COMPASS
mode after 3 seconds.
6. When the calibration is done, the
message "DONE" will be displayed
and the watch will return to
COMPASS mode after 2 seconds.
TO TAKE A NEW "MARK ANGLE"
In COMPASS mode, You must move your
watch horizontally until the chosen degree
is displayed, then press S1 button to take
a "mark angle". A new mark will blink to
indicate the marked direction and a new
"mark angle" (in degree) will be displayed.
1. Press S1 button to take another
"mark angle".
2. Press S2 button to return to
COMPASS mode.
NOTE: Mark angle helps you to follow
a certain direction or degree. The mark
angle always remembers the last direc-
tion or degree selected. The default mark
angle is 0°.
TO SHOW THE LAST "MARK ANGLE"
OR TIME
1. In COMPASS mode, press S2 button
to display the previous mark angle". A
mark will blink to indicate the previ
ously marked direction and the
previous "mark angle" (in degree) will
be displayed.
2. Press S2 button again to return to
COMPASS mode.
TO USE THE ALTIMETER
Altitude (bar chart)
Altitude
(current value
=197Ft)
Time
1. Press S3 button to select ALTIMETER
mode.
2. The latest altitude will be displayed
in numeric and graphic formats.
NOTE: Altitude is measured by using an
air pressure sensor. Air pressure changes
constantly due to varying weather condi-
tions. Therefore, measured altitudes in
the same position may vary. Pressure
variations due to weather conditions, or
indoor air-conditioning, may affect alti-
tude readings. Calibrate the altimeter at
regular intervals to make sure it remains
accurate.
NOTE: The pressure sensor range is:
(-1600Ft) to (29,500Ft) or (-500M) to
(9,000M).

USEFUL DEFINITIONS:
ASCENT:
The cumulative ascent since the Altitude
Data was cleared.
DESCENT:
The cumulative descent since the Altitude
Data was cleared.
DIFFER:
It displays the difference in altitude since
the last reset of the function.
RATE:
It displays the ascent / descent rate in the
selected unit, it will update the value 1
time per minute.
LOGDATE:
It displays the time and date at last time
Altitude Data was cleared.
HIGHEST:
The highest altitude, time and date since
the Altitude Data was cleared.
LOWEST
The lowest altitude, time and date since
the Altitude Data was cleared.
TO SET UP THE ALTIMETER
1. In ALTIMETER mode, press and hold S4
button for approximately 1 second. The
message "SET-ALTI" will be displayed.
2. Press S1/S2 button to select among
altitude setting mode (SET-ALTI), sea
level pressure setting mode (SEA-Lv)
or units setting mode (UNITS).
3. Press S3 button once to enter into
each setting mode. Press S3 button
again to return to the mode selection
screen.
4. In altitude setting mode, press
S1/S2 button to set the altitude
digits.
5. In sea level pressure setting mode,
press S1/S2 button to set the sea
level pressure digits.
6. In units setting mode, press S1/S2
button to toggle between M (meter)
and Ft (feet).
7. When finished making all the settings,
press S4 button to return to
ALTIMETER mode.
NOTE: SET-ALTI means that you set an
altitude reading that is equal to current
location altitude. Set the reference
altitude in a place where you know the
altitude, for example: with the help of a
topographical map. SEA-Lv means that
you have to key in a sea level pressure.
The sea level pressure of your location
can be found through information from
a weather station. If you don't know your
current location altitude or the correct sea
level pressure, you can just set the sea
level pressure to 1013mbar/29.913inHg.
The watch has a factory setting that
corresponds to the standard air pressure
(1013mbar/29.913inHg) at sea level.
NOTE: On the next day when you re-
start your activity, please calibrate the
reference altitude again in order for the
altimeter to function properly.
TO SHOW THE LOG DATE AND TIME
1. In ALTIMETER mode, press S2
button to display log date and time.
2. Press S3 button or leave the watch
idle for 5 seconds to return to
ALTIMETER mode.
TO CLEAR THE DATA
1. In ALTIMETER mode, press and hold
S2 button for approximately 3 seconds
to clear all statistic data and graphic
data.
NOTE: In the bar chart, after clearing the
data, the first new data will be updated
after 2 seconds and another will be taken
in 30 minutes.
ENGLISH
TO VIEW ALTITUDE AND OTHER INFOR-
MATION
1. In ALTIMETER mode, press S1
button to toggle between the accumu-
lative ascent (ASCENT),
accumulative descent (DESCENT),
difference in altitude (DIFFER), rate
(RATE) or time (TIME).
2. While toggling, each mode in ALTIM-
ETER is displayed for approximately 2
seconds, followed by a display of the
data in a bar chart.
NOTE: To reset the difference in altitude
to zero, press and hold S1 button for
approximately 3 seconds when the differ-
ence in altitude data is displayed.
TO VIEW DATA IN DETAIL
1. In ALTIMETER mode, press S4
button once. The message "VIEW
DATA" will be displayed.
2. After 3 seconds or by pressing
S1/S2 button, the message
"Highest" will be displayed.
3. Press S1 button to select displaying
the data of highest altitude
(Highest), lowest altitude (Lowest),
accumulative ascent (ASCENT),
accumulative descent (DESCENT),
difference in altitude (DIFFER) or
the individual statistic and graphic
data recorded. Press S2 button to
cycle the selection backward.
4. When displaying highest altitude,
lowest altitude and the individual
statistic and graphic data recorded,
the corresponding log time and date
will be swapping in every 2 seconds.
5. Press S3/S4 button or leave the
watch idle for 1 minute to return to
ALTIMETER mode.
TO USE THE BAROMETER
Sea level
pressure (trend)
Absolute
air pressure
(current value)
Time
NOTE: Use the barometer to measure
sea level pressure (shown by trend) and
absolute air pressure (shown by current
value). Sea level pressure represents
the unit's estimate of absolute pressure
corrected to sea level (as reported from
a weather station, airport or internet
weather page). Absolute air pressure is
true atmospheric pressure at current
altitude and conditions.
Sea level pressure (trend):
A graphical presentation of sea level
pressure development during the last 23
hours in 1-hour intervals. The flashing
point on the right of the display is the
point of the newest measurement. The
vertical axis represents sea level pressure
value and one step on the horizontal axis
represents 1 hour. By monitoring these
changes you can predict the weather with
reasonable accuracy.
SEA-Lv:
Sea-Lv means that you have to key in a
sea level pressure. The sea level pressure
of your location can be found through
information from weather station.
If you don't know the correct sea level
pressure, you can just set the sea level
pressure (1013mbar/29.913inHg) at sea
level.
dP/dt:
It displays the ascent / descent rate of the
sea level air pressure in the selected unit
or sea level pressure change per hour, it
will update the value 1 time per hour.
