MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning from insect residues:
- Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the device from power
mains.
- Release the insect collection basket turning it clockwise and empty it (Fig. 5).
- Is possible clean the insect collection basket and the filter with water. Dry thoroughly
before reuse.
- Lock back the insect collection basket in place turning it counter clockwise (Fig. 6).
- Clean the device once every 15 days, or more often if required.
- Do not use insecticides to kill any insect still alive upon cleaning, as they could reduce
device effectiveness.
ATTENTION! If some dangerous alive insects are still present inside the insect collection
basket, let the device ON, and wait for them to die.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
After normal use, it may be necessary to replace the filters, in case of wear or when very
dirty, after routine cleaning.

- There are two filters to be replaced: Basket Filter and Extraction Filter;
- Before carrying out maintenance operations of any kind, the device must be discon-
nected from the power supply;
- Remove the lower basket by unscrewing it in a clockwise direction, and replace the
old Basket Filter with the new one, fitting it inside the basket (Fig. 5 - 6). If necessary,
also replace the Extraction Filter at the top of the device;
- Replace the basket by screwing it in an anticlockwise direction;
- Reactivate the trap by connecting it to a power supply.
In case of fan lock:
- Disconnect the device from power mains;
- Release the insect collection basket turning it clockwise;
- Empty the insect collection basket making sure that the filter is clean so as to allow
air correct circulation;
- Clean fan blades using a small brush (or a small paintbrush);
- Lock the insect collection basket back in place turning it counter clockwise;
- Connect the device at the power mains to reactivate the trap.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

Remove all packing material and, to prevent any chocking, do not allow children playing with it.
The device can be used indoor and outdoor. Never expose the device to standing water.
The device shall not be used by people (children included) with reduced physical or mental
capacities, or without any experience or knowledge, unless they are under the supervision
of a person responsible for their safety or they have been instructed on how to use the device.
The device shall be kept out of the reach of children.
Children shall be watched over to make sure they do not play with the device.
Connect the adapter to a wall outlet protected from moisture and water, don't use extension cables. If there
is the need of extension cables, use Sandokan art. 7358 that it comes in the box, which is equivalent to 10
meters of extension cable at low voltage. ATTENTION: maximum 3 extension cables for device.
Protect connectors from water and water spray.
The device shall not be used in dusty areas, or with flammable or explosive vapours.
Do not use the device if it shows signs of breaks.
Do not use the device if it is wet or shows signs of moisture.
Never expose the device to very dirty environments.
