TM-CU DASHBOARD MOUNTING KIT

5.2.1

Installing the pivot

• Position the pivot support (item 11) in the required position on the dashboard and secure

it with the three fastening screws (item 10).

1st case: installing the pivot with the dashboard shell

• Secure the pivot (item8) on the shell (item 4) with the fastening screw (item 6).

• Secure the pivot (item 8) with the shell (item 4) on the pivot support (item11) previously

secured to the dashboard with the fastening screw (item 9).
• Thread the various connectors of the system cables, voice accessories and
loudspeaker through the openings in the back of the dashboard shell.
2nd case: installing the pivot with the support plate
• Position the pivot support (item 11) in the required position on the dashboard and secure
it with the three fastening screws (item 10).
• Drill the centre of the support plate indicated by a circle and install the fastening screw
(item 6).
• Secure the pivot (item 8) on the support plate (item 3) with the fastening screw (item 6).
• Secure the pivot (item 8) with the support plate (item 3) on the pivot support (item 11)
previously secured to the dashboard with the fastening screw (item 9).
5.2.2

Connecting the TM-CU

• On the back panel of the TM-CU:
- Connect the voice accessory cable connector (item 12) to the 16-point male
connector
- Insert the voice accessory cable into its recess in the back panel of the TM-CU
(item 13)
- Insert the first rubber retaining piece into its recess in the back panel of the TM-CU
(item 14)
Note:
- Insert the second rubber retaining piece (item 8) into the bracket of the TM-CU
(item 7)
- Route the voice accessory cable through the slot (item 6) in the front face of the
TM-CU
- If used, connect the external accessory cable connector (item 3) to the 24-point audio
accessory male connector
- Insert the external accessory cable into its recess (item 4)
- Insert the rubber retaining piece into its recess (item 5)

As the cable is not centred in the rubber retaining piece, position the rubber
retaining piece inside its recess so that the voice accessory cable is towards
the outside.
As the 4-point male USB socket (item 2) is not being used, the sealing plug
must not be removed.
