NOTES ON LOCATION:
To prevent damage from condensation, position the
humidifi er on a smooth, fl at, nonmetallic, waterproof
surface and position direction of vapor away from fur-
niture, electronics and direct sunlight. If condensation
forms on the window pane reposition unit to another
location.
We do not recommend operating this unit in a closed
room for an extended period of time, as condensa-
tion will collect on walls or other surfaces and cause
damage. Avoid aiming the mist directly toward young
children.
In order to get the most eff ective use from your
humidifi er, it is important to position the unit properly
in the room. Place the unit at leaSt two feet from the
fl oor and each wall, and at least 5 feet from the ceil-
ing. . Adjust the fan/vapor intensity accordingly for the
size of the room. size of the room.
ASSEMBLY
1. Unpack humidifi er from carton.
2. Assemble the humidifi er by placing the water tank onto the base.
These two components only fi t together one way.
3. Position the vapor nozzle onto the water tank.
ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFIERS AND WATER QUALITY
Ultrasonic humidifiers operate on the principle of high frequency oscil-
lation of water molecules until they are broken into ultra-fine particles
(1-5μm). This is done by an oscillator (sometimes called an atomizer,
nebulizer or transducer) inside the humidifier. The fine mist created is
then dispersed into the air by a fan.
Because the water itself is atomized, any minerals or debris in it will
be dispersed into the air as well, creating fine white dust that could be
inhaled. For that reason it is highly recommended to use a demineral-
ization filter whenever using an ultrasonic humidifier.
