Panini Maker Use instructions
This appliance is for household use only.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any
parts of the appliance into water or other fluids.
Do not use the appliance near explosives, highly flammable mate-
rials, gases or burning flames.
Do not allow children, disabled people or every pe-
ople without experience or technical ability to use
the appliance if they are not properly watched over.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance
used by or near children.

Use instructions
Before the first use, we advise you to clean the baking plates with a soft damp cloth or sponge.
Lightly grease the plates with butter or cooking oil; the toaster can release some smokes and odours, open the
toaster and allow it to heat for at least 5 minutes without food. It is recommended to open the windows to elimi-
nate smoke and odours due to the heating of the internal components.
Place the toaster on a flat, smooth and heat-resistant surface.
Insert the plug into an electrical outlet. Check that the power cable is not in contact with hot parts.
Operation
Insert the plug in the power socket, the pilot light will come on to indicate that the appliance is switched on.
The appliance starts to preheat; when the cooking temperature is reached, then the ready light will turns off
and the sandwich maker is ready for use.
Place the sandwich on the bottom plate and close the toaster plates, pressing slightly until the hook closes. If you
want to raise the height of the toaster plates, simply turn the closing hook and rest the top plate.
Be careful not to touch the hot parts of the toaster.
The sandwich is cooked in about 2-3 minutes .
Check the right cooking by adjusting according to your tastes.
After cooking, remove the sandwich from the plate using a wooden or plastic spatula (not supplied) if necessary.
During this operation, be very careful not to touch the hot parts of the toaster.
Do not use metal spatulas or knives as they could damage the plate coating.
After cooking the sandwich, disconnect the plug from the electrical socket.
If necessary, to move the toaster use only the insulating handle, the parts of the toaster could be very hot.
Some tips
Preheat the plates before use by inserting the plug into the electrical outlet before starting the preparation of the
sandwich.
For sandwiches with creamy and soft fillings use medium thickness bread.
To obtain more browning effect of the toast, a light layer of butter can be spread on the sides of the bread in
contact with the plates.
Toaster cleaning and maintenance
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the power supply by
disconnecting the plug and waiting for the appliance to cool down completely.
Clean the plates and the outside with a damp cloth.
