FITTING THE BATTERIES.-
This
monitor

batteries, remove the rear cover on
the monitor, and carefully insert the
two "AAA" type batteries into the
battery compartment making sure that
the
battery's
(matching the battery's «+» terminal
with the «+» sign inside the battery
compartment, and the «-» terminal
with the «-» sign). Close the cover.
If, after having switched the monitor
on, it displays errors or merely partial
segments then remove the batteries
and wait for about 15 seconds before
reinstalling them.
Weak batteries (run down) produce a
weak digital display (poor contrast)
and erroneous readings. Change them
immediately.
The monitor will switch itself off
automatically
if
motionless for 4 minutes.
Important. Discarded batteries must
be deposited in special containers,

ELECTRONIC MONITOR.-
To give you greater control over your
exercise, this electronic unit displays
read-outs of speed/rpm, distance,
exercise time, pulse rate and calories
burnt.
The
screen
automatically as soon as you start
exercising.
This monitor has four keys: RESET,
MODE, SET, RECOVERY. The five
windows at the bottom of the display
uses

Programming a time limit.-
Once you are in the main screen, you
press the MODE key the time window
will start flashing. By pressing the SET
key you can program a time limit for
the exercise (between 1-99 minutes).
Select the time and press MODE to
confirm. The time will begin to count
down until it reaches zero and the
monitor will beep several times to
advise you that you have reached the
programmed value.
Programming a distance limit.-
on
Once you are in the main screen, you
press the MODE key twice the
distance window will start flashing. By
pressing
program a distance for your exercise
(between 0.5–99.5 km).
