STORING YOUR LIGHTNING® CABLE
Storing your Lightning cable is as easy as plugging it in and deciding if you want
it fully stored inside the Mobile Charging Station, or if you want to leave the
Lightning connector outside and accessible. Here's how to do both:
1. Remove the Mobile Charging Station's protective cover.
2. Plug the USB end of your Lightning cable into the
Mobile Charging Station's right USB port – the one
marked with a phone icon.
3. Starting on the right side of the storage island, wrap
your Lightning cable around the island, moving
clockwise.
a. If you want your Lightning connector accessible
after you replace the Mobile Charging Station's
protective cover, pass the cable through the
cable cutout on the bottom of the Mobile
Charging Station. If you want the entire cable
stored inside the Mobile Charging Station, simply
wrap it until it is fully contained in the storage
space. NOTE: Make sure you wrap your Lightning
cable on top of your Apple Magnetic Charging
Cable for best performance.
4. Replace the Mobile Charging Station's protective cover.
