INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Thank you for purchasing another Tramontina product.
• At Tramontina, the customers' safety is top priority. We create and
manufacture products with that in mind, so we ask you to be careful
when using any of our products and follow the instructions below.
• PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! WE
RECOMMEND YOU KEEP THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
• Please inspect the product to ensure it has not been damaged
during transportation.
• Serving Thermal airpot, compliant with the constant standard as
defined by the BRAZILIAN STANDARD FOR THERMAL airpot
-NBR 13282 and according to the updated version issued by ABNT -
BRAZILIAN ASSOCIATION OF TECHNICAL STANDARDS.
1. Tips for use:
• To open or close the thermal carafe, hold the handle with one hand and
open the sealing lid with the other;
• Wash all parts of the thermal carafe with water and mild detergent before
use;
• To avoid leaks, ensure the lid is properly attached to the body of the tea
or coffee pot;
• There is a container adjustment system on the bottom of the thermal
carafe to avoid unwanted leaks and to maintain a perfect seal over time;
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the thermal carafe;
• This product was designed to keep beverages hot or cold for long
periods;
• The volumetric capacity may vary up to 10% of its indicated nominal
volume
2. Tips to improve your thermal carafe performance:
• Pre-heat the thermal carafe by filling it with boiling water for appro-
ximately 3 minutes; empty it and add the prepared beverage.
• Cool the thermal carafe by filling it with cold water for approxima-
tely 3 minutes; empty it and add the prepared beverage.
Note: to avoid problems caused by a temperature shock in glass
containers, never pour a hot beverage followed by a cold beverage
into the container or vice-versa.
3. Special care for the thermal carafe with glass container:
• Do not overfill. Hot beverages may splatter;
• Do not shake;
• Do not drop or hit it against hard surfaces;
• Do not drink directly from the pot;
• Never heat the thermal carafe with heating elements or use it in
high temperature areas;
• Do not pour dry ice, fizzy drinks, or any liquids that may generate
high pressure into the container;
