READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION.
• CAUTION – DANGER - RISK OF SHOCK - DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE INSTALLING.
• CAUTION – To prevent eye damage avoid looking directly at the LEDs.
• CAUTION – Heat Sink Surface may be hot. Allow sufficient cooling time before handling.
• Make sure LED 240-R is properly supported with supporting chains and/or hooks.
• Keep away from all flammable materials.
• DO NOT mount LED 240-R directly touching any surface (maintain at least 4 inches from the
top of the luminaire to mounting surface).
• DO NOT lift the LED 240-R by any cords.
• DO NOT hang LED 240-R by cord.
• This LED 240-R must be adequately grounded for protection against shock hazards and to
assure proper operation. DO NOT modify grounding or polarized plug by removing pins or
using unsafe adapters.
• DO NOT operate in ambient temperatures above 104°F/40°C. NOTE: Maintain the
temperature within the growing space below 81°F /27°C, otherwise ventilation/cooling
system may be required when the LED 240-R is in operation.
• Use only with cord supplied. If cord of LED 240-R is damaged, it should be replaced by
qualified electrician.
• Optical Radiation emitted from this product. Follow warnings on LED 240-R and in
these instructions.

SYSTEM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Tools Required: Phillips Screw Driver, Suitable mounting components
NOTE: Inspect system for defects prior to installation. If defects are noticed do
not install and contact the manufacturer immediately.
1. Remove LED 240-R from packaging.
2. Inspect for damage. If damage is noted, do not attempt to install
or operate.
3. This LED 240-R is intended to be hung using the included eyebolt.
4. Attach the eyebolt to the top mounting plate. (see Figure 1 below)
5. Tighten securing screw on the eyelet. (see Figure 1 below)
6. Use mounting hardware suitable for the surface involved, attach chain.
7. Hardware and chain are to be capable of supporting 100 lbs.
8. Hang LED 240-R no closer than 18 inches above the plant canopy
for optimal growing. (If hanging more than one system, ensure the
edge-to-edge distance between systems is greater than 4 inches.)
9. Plug male end of the input power cord into the electrical outlet. If not
using 120V supply (Note: max Voltage 277V AC), consult a qualified
electrician for correct supply termination. Use a suitably rated NEMA
connector or hardwire (Black to Line, White to Neutral, Green to Ground)
10. The LED 240-R is now ready for operation.

Note that possible hazardous optical radiation is emitted from this product.
Ensure the following precautions are taken:
CAUTION: DO NOT stare at operating
lamp. May be harmful to the eye.
The warning label shown at right
is attached to the luminaire. The
luminaire has been assessed for
hazards per IEC62471.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
EYE HORTILUX LED 240-R
3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
EYE Lighting International of North America ("EYE Lighting") warrants
HORTILUX LED 240-R to be free from defects in material and workmanship.
LEDs are guaranteed to maintain 90% or better light output for 3 years during
normal operation. All warranty claims must be directed to the retail store
where the EYE HORTILUX product was purchased.
