Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to
speci c hazards and risks.
The luggage scale was designed so that you can take it with you anywhere you
travel. You'll know how much your luggage weighs before you get to the airport,
which allows you to avoid excess baggage charges.

Operating Instructions:

• Guide the strap through the handle of the suitcase to be weighed and attach the
strap's hook to the triangular ring.
• Lift the scale so the suitcase is off the ground long enough that the weight is
displayed.
When the weight measurement is stable, the number is saved and the scale
beeps. The total weight is then displayed on the LCD panel. The scale switches off
automatically after 30 seconds. It can also be switched off manually.

For optimal results, hold the scale so it is horizontal and avoid touching the metal
bar with your ngers.
Warning – Batteries
• When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and - markings) and
insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries
leaking or exploding.
• Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the speci ed type.
• Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polar
contacts.
• Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of a different type or make.
• Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended
period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency).
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a re.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the
environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
• Immediately remove and dispose of dead batteries from the product.
• Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and
extremely low atmospheric pressure (for example, at high altitudes).
