General information
When using the tower fan, basic safety precautions should be observed. PLEASE READ
AND SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE TOWER FAN.
1.
Always turn the tower fan off before removing the plug from the outlet.
2.
This is NOT a toy. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or
near children or invalids.
3.
Use only as described in this manual. DO NOT use attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer. This unit is intended for household use only.
4.
DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord. To unplug the fan, grasp the plug, not the cord.
5.
DO NOT handle plug or tower fan with wet hands.
6.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and
moving parts.
7.
Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it is dropped in water.
8.
Always turn the tower fan off and unplug it immediately after using and before
cleaning.
9.
To protect against electrical hazards, do not place the tower fan in water or any other
liquid. Do not allow the tower fan to become wet or damp.
10. DO NOT store the tower fan where it can fall into water or other liquids.
11. NO object(s) should ever be inserted or dropped into any opening on this product.
12. DO NOT leave the tower fan unattended when it is in use. Turn the fan off when
leaving it for an extended period of time.
13. Place the tower fan on a flat, level surface to avoid it overturning.
14. DO NOT obstruct the airflow.
15. DO NOT operate the tower fan without the front guard/grill in place.
16. DO NOT operate the tower fan directly adjacent to curtains, plants, window covers,
etc. to avoid accidental entanglement or create a fire hazard.
17. DO NOT use the tower fan if it has not been fully assembled. Make sure that the
screws the hold the base and main unit together are tightened securely.
18. Keep the cord away from heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put cord
under rugs, radiators or stoves.
19. NOTE: This fan employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an
overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the fan from the outlet.
Replace the fuse and check the fan. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may
be present and you should contact customer service for instructions.
20. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use this fan with any
solid-state speed control device.
