CLEANING AND CARE
Important Hints
• Pull the mains plug out of the socket with earthing contact before cleaning.
• Make sure that no liquids penetrate the housing.
• Never submerge the tabletop grill in water or other liquids.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaners such as alkaline- or chlorine-based cleaners
and sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as knives, hard scrapers or similar.
Tips for cleaning
• Brush some oil onto the inside surface of the grill (reflector) before switching on the
heating tube to prevent dirt from sticking to the inside surface.
• Before cleaning, spray water on interior residues and wait a few minutes to soften
them.
• Then remove the residue with water and a little detergent.
• Always switch off the heating pipe when you are not grilling and remove all
residues before grilling again.
Cleaning the grill
• Remove the grill and the oil pan from the grill, wash them both with soapy water
and dry them off.
• Wipe the protective cover of the heating pipe and the inner surface of the grill
(reflector) with a damp cloth or sponge and a mild dishwashing detergent.
