OPERATION
Take enough time for a careful selection of a working area. Take care that your workplace is near to
the compressor and blasting material. Attention! The ground and substrates may be damaged by the
blasting material, maintain sufficient distance. Always stay aware. Remove the device or other objects
from the blasting area. Persons and animals must not remain in the blasting area. Never direct the
gun against persons or animals. Blasting material may also lead to hand injury. Wear gloves that are
suitable for sand blasting. Always wear safety glasses and dust masks when sand blasting.
1. Do not fill the container (2) with more then 150 g blasting material.
2. Attach the compressed air inlet (19) of the sandblasting gun to the compressed air system.
3. Set the pressure in the compressed air system to 6.2 bar (90 PSI). Do not use a higher pressure.
4. Press the trigger (12) to start sand blasting.
5. Regulator (15) is used to set the amount of blasting material discharged by the nozzle (2).
Experiment in order to find out the correct setting.
6. Check your workplace in order to prevent slipping on the blasting material.
7. When you have finished with work, empty the container and blast the remaining blasting material
out of the gun.
MAINTENANCE
•
After each use, thoroughly clean the working area. Spilt glass blasting material is very slippery
and creates a dangerous working environment.
•
Do not reuse blasting material already used. In some cases, used blasting material decomposes
into dust and thus leads to poor visibility and a negative work result.
•
Without using blasting material, check the device for leaks at regular intervals.
