WARNING: lf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard. Oversize foods, metal foil
packages, metal im- plements or utensils must not be inserted
in the toaster as they may involve a risk of fire or electric
shock.
CAUTION: This appliance heats up whilst in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. The
temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.

Switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the wall
socket and allow to cool completely befare moving.
•
Never use this appliance below wall cupboards or shelving.
•
Do not touch the body of the toaster and beware of the
heat and hot surface. Always use the switch lever and
toast level control knob.
NOTE: The first time the appliance is used a slight odour may
develop. This is entirely harmless and will soon dissipate. Ensure
there is adequate ventilation when using the 2 slice toaster.
•
Be extra cautious when toasting bread products which
contain fats and sugars as they may burn. lf bread smokes,
press CANCEL button and use a lower setting.
•
Never use the toaster without its crumb tray in position.
•
Never operate the toaster without bread.
•
This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
an externa! timer or separate remate-control system.
