Each Reference AV ships with a perforated metal grill affixed to its chassis with ten rear-mounted bolts. To
protect the speaker during shipping, a foam sheet is inserted between the drivers and the grill. This foam is
removed by undoing five (all on one side) of the ten grill-mount Phillips head screws. This will loosen the grill
sufficiently to remove the protective foam, while the remaining five screws retain the alignment. Once the
foam insert has been removed, refasten the screws. The speaker is now ready for installation, either on the
wall or on the optional stand.
