Caution:
The spotlight is self-starting and does not require a ballast control. After
switching off, the spotlight cannot be switched on again until it has cooled
down for a few minutes. An internal thermal switch turns the spotlight off in the
event of overheating and switches it on again automatically once it has cooled
down. When installing the spotlight, sufficient space should be left between the
terrarium walls and the floor in order to avoid a build-up of heat, particularly in the
interests of the animals.
The spotlight should only be installed in a vertical position.
The spotlight should never be splashed with water!
In all UV spotlights, the amount of light emitted decreases during the service life
of the lamp. If the UV Spot is operated for 10 hours a day, it should be replaced
after 6 months, at the latest.
