II USE
The 1S162 valve is intended for use in lower limb prosthesis only. Any other use is not permitted.
III INDICATIONS / CONT RA -INDICATIONS
No contra-indications for using the 1S162 valve in a lower limb prosthesis, whatever the patient weight and activity level.
IV MAKING T HE SOCKET
Make the socket as u sual and mark the position
of the valve on this socket, then
a) On the lankmark, drill a 8.5 mm Ø hole
perpendicular to the socket wall
b) Cut a M10 x 1.5 thread.
V PREPARING T HE VALVE
Disassemble the valve head (1.

Using a 5 mm hex wrench (3), screw the
