Hi-Speed USB Audio/Video Grabber • Quick Install Guide
Thank you for purchasing the MANHATTAN
Model 161336. This guide presents the basic steps to set up and operate this
device. For detailed installation instructions and specifications, refer to the user
manual at www.manhattan-products.com.
1. With the device connected to your computer and media source, the Found New
Hardware Wizard displays a Welcome screen. Click "Cancel" to continue.
2. Insert the included driver/software CD. When the initial menu displays, click
"Driver Install" or run Driver\Setup.exe.
3. On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click "Install. " NOTE: If one or more
Windows Security prompts appear during the Status updates, click "Install" or
"Continue Anyway. "
4. On the driver's Complete screen, click "Finish. "
5. On the menu, click "Software Install" or run EZ Grabber\Setup.exe.
6. On the Ready to Install the Program screen, click "Install. "
7. On the application's Complete screen, click "Finish. "
8. On the menu, click "Honestech VHS to DVD" or run VHS2DVD\Setup.exe.
9. On the Choose Setup Language screen, select a language and click "Next. "
10. On the License Agreement screen, select "I accept... " and click "Next. "
11. On the Choose Destination Location screen, click "Next. "
12. On the Honestech Ready to Install the Program screen, click "Install. "
13. On the Honestech Complete screen, click "Finish. "
14. On the menu, click "Users Guide. "
15. In the directory, open the "HTVideoToDVD" file, then click on "Using the
honestech VHS to DVD 2.5" to display the Instructions options
16. On the menu, click "Utility" if you don't already have DirectX 9.0 or higher on
your computer. NOTE: This is required to operate the device.
17. In the directory, open the "DirectX" file to install it.
The EZ Grabber and Honestech icons should display on the
desktop. Launch either program to display the corresponding
on-screen interface. For details about using the on-screen
interfaces to operate the Grabber, refer to the user manual on the enclosed driver
CD or online at www.manhattan-products.com.
