EFX LOOP A, B Jacks
These are for connecting external effects units.
There are two systems, A and B (monaural).
Connect the external effects unit INPUT to the SEND jack, and the OUTPUT to the RETURN jack.
[LOOP] switch
When PARALLEL is set, the external effects sound and the direct sound are mixed.
When SERIES is set, only the external effects sound is played.
* When SERIES is set, if the volume of the external effects unit is turned down completely, or the power is not turned on, no sound will be heard.
[LEVEL] switch
Use this switch to change the input/output level of an effects loop. According to the input/output level of the connected equipment, select +4 dBu or
-10 dBu. When the input/output level of the connected equipment is high, set +4 dBu, and when it is low, set -10 dBu.
* Depending on the power supply you are using, the two cables connected to SEND and RETURN may pick up more noise if they are placed
apart from each other.Bundle the cables together.
External effects unit
INPUT
* To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn down the volume, and turn off all the units before making any connections.
* When connection cables with resistors are used, the volume level of equipment connected to the inputs (INPUT, MAIN IN, and RETURN jacks) may be low. If this happens, use
connection cables that do not contain resistors.
