BEFORE CHARGING READ THE INSTRUCTION SHEET
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE BATTERY CHARGERS WITH AND WITHOUT LEDS FOR LEAD-
CHARGING THE BATTERIES
WARNING! Before using the toy, charge the battery for at least 18 hrs
A) Plug the battery charger into a power outlet that complies with the specifi cations on its label
B) Connect the terminal on the battery charger to that on the battery, using the appropriate connectors.
C) Your battery charger is provided with an LED indicator which means that:
1) When plugging in the charger as described in A) with no battery connected, the green LED will
light up to indicate that the device is working correctly.
2) Connect the battery as described in B). If all connections have been made properly and the battery
is discharged the orange LED will "fl ash" to confi rm the start of charging. Wait for the time required
for the battery to charge completely.
3) When the battery is charged the LED will switch from "fl ashing" orange to green to indicate that the
batter is charged.
4) If the battery is already charged the green LED may be already on or turn from orange to green
very soon after. If battery life is reduced the next time you use the battery, please contact Customer
Service to check battery and battery charger operation.
D) Once the charge is completed and the LED is on, unplug the battery charger from the mains outlet fi rst,
then the battery terminal. Connect the battery to the electrical system of your toy, which is now ready
to use.
The battery charger is fi tted with a safety device which means that in the event of overheating or a short
circuit of the battery, a protection system will intervene to prevent current peaks, which could damage
the battery charger.
In this case unplug the battery charger from the power outlet, remove the cause of the short circuit and
reconnect everything as described in sections A) to C).
