1.2. General information
With the Behnke 2-wire system you can use the
existing wiring on site to also connect Behnke IP
products. The Behnke 2-wire system transmits
ethernet and power via only 2 wires. If using
coaxial cables the maximum bridgeable cable
length is 200m, with telecommunication cables
it is 100m. Only the receiver indoors has to be
supplied with electricity. It supplies not only
the outdoor transmitter but also the IP terminal
device connected outdoors by means of PoE
according to IEEE802.3af (max. 15.6W).
