INTENDED usE

The device is intended only to heat and keep food warm for non-commercial
use in the enclosed rooms.
Any other or additional use is considered as not intended.

If the device is not used as intended and/or used differently than intended
danger may be caused through the device.
- Use the device only as intended.
- Follow the procedures outlined in this user manual.
Claims of any kind due to damages from unintended use are excluded.
The operator alone bears the risk.

ImPORTANT sAFEGuARDs

to reduce the risk of personal injury or property damage when using your buffet
warmer, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
• Read all instructions before use.
• Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rating label.
• Do not immerse the device, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
• Unplug from main power supply when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
down completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before storing the device.
• Close supervision is required when this device is used by or near children. Do not
allow children to play with the device.
• Repairs to the device should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper
repairs may place the user at serious risk. If damaged or malfunction occurs, refer to
an authorized service centre only.
• Do not operate the device with a damaged plug or cord, or after the device
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
• Do not use the device for other than intended household use.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Ensure the device is placed on a stable, heat resistant surface when in use.
• The use of attachments or accessories which are not supplied with the device is not
recommended. This could result in electrical shock or injury or permanent damage to
the device.
• Do not touch hot surfaces! Always use hot pads or pot holders until unit cools.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Do not move the device when containing hot liquids/foods.
• Do not leave the device unattended while in use.
• Food warmed on the tray must be pre-cooked and already hot as this device is not
designed for cooking or defrosting.
