CAUTION: Your new ice scraper is a valuable tool when used correctly. Misuse can
cause damage to your vehicle or injury to the user. When not in use the unit must
always be switched to "CHARGE".
A. DESCRIPTION OF THE ICE SCRAPER
Product Features
3 switch positions:
1. BATT runs the unit with the built-in battery.
2. CHARGE is used to charge the unit
3. LIGHT runs the unit directly from the lighter socket if the unit is not
charged sufficiently or the battery has run down.
Since both the "BATT" and "LIGHT" settings activate the heating element,
when not in use the unit must always be switched to "CHARGE".
Technical characteristics
The rechargeable ice scraper is supplied with 4xAA rechargeable battery
pack (Ni-CD) 1000Mah (total voltage of battery: 4.8V).
The product connects to the cigar lighter connection: 30 W - 12 V - 50 Hz
B. HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT
1. How to charge the product
To charge set the switch to "charge" and plug into your lighter.
The green LED will flash while charging. Complete charging takes about
5 hours. When charging is complete the green LED under "Batt" will light
(not flash anymore).
2. How to use the product
Remove the cord and move the switch to "Batt". After a few moments the
element will heat. Scrape the windshield with the plastic scraper being
careful to avoid letting the heating element touch the windshield. The
back of the scraper has special nubs to break up thicker ice if needed.
If needed the scraper can also be powered by the lighter directly. In this
case connect the cord to the lighter and move the switch to "Light". Use
as in instruction 2 above.
When finished move the switch back to the "Charge" position.

C. WARNING
- The heating element is extremely hot. Never touch the heating element
or allow it to come into contact with any object.
- Always remove the lighter plug from the socket when not in use.
- Never leave the small plug dangling loose when the lighter plug is still
in the socket.
- When finished move the switch back to the "Charge" position.
- Always store the ice scraper with the heating element up.
- Never store with the heating element touching any object.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or
assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
- Please let the device cool down completely before putting it into the car.
- Do NOT put the device into your car near objects, on the seat, car mats
or in the glove compartment before letting it cooling down completely!
