3. Drop-In and Above-Counter Installation

Product can break, chip, or cause injury if handled carelessly.
NOTE: For vessel installation method refer to the "Vessel
Installation" section.
NOTE: Apply a generous amount of clear silicone sealant when
you install the drain.
Install the drain to the sink according to the drain installation
instructions.
For tile, wood, or other porous materials, apply waterproof sealer
around the cutout area of the countertop surface. Follow all
manufacturer's instructions and warnings. Allow the sealer to dry
before proceeding.
NOTE: Install the adhesive seal when the temperature is at least
50°F (10°C). The preferred temperature is 70°F (21°C) to 100°F (38°C)
for optimal seal formation.
For Drop-In: Loosely apply the adhesive seal (included) around
the entire countertop cutout so it is about 3/16" (5 mm) from the
cutout.
For Above-Counter: Loosely apply the adhesive seal (included)
around the entire countertop cutout so it is alongside the cutout
hole.
