A Base
B Bowl
C Stainless steel pulp filter
USE
■ Before using for the first time, remove all packaging and rinse the bowl,
stainless steel pulp filter, and juicing cone (B, C & D).
■ Place the bowl on the base (fig. 1).
■ Place the stainless steel pulp filter in the bowl, and then the juicing cone
in the center of the pulp filter (fig. 2).
■ Cut citrus fruit in half. For optimal juice extraction, press fruit at room
temperature. Roll fruit on a table, using the palm of your hand to apply
gentle pressure before cutting in half.
■ Plug the citrus juicer in. Place fruit cut side down on the cone, applying
pressure against the cone. The cone will automatically start rotating once
pressure is applied, and juice will flow through the pulp filter into the bowl.
Remove fruit
automatically stop rotating when fruit is removed. Keep fruit centered and
maintain constant pressure for best results.
■ Do not use continuously for more than 10 minutes.
CLEANING
■ Always unplug the citrus press before cleaning. Never immerse
the base in water or place under running water. To clean the
base, wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry carefully. .
■ Rinse the pulp filter after juicing for easy cleaning. Once pulp has dried
on the filter, soak in warm water to loosen the pulp and then wipe with a
sponge. Do not use abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners or sponges to
clean the removable parts. The pulp filter and cover can also be washed
in the upper level of the dishwasher, using the gentle cycle. The bowl and
base cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
