CAUTION: NEVER IMMERSE THE ENTIRE COFFEE MAKER IN WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUID!
1.
Always remove the main plug from the wall socket and allow all
parts to cool completely before cleaning the appliance.
2.
You may wipe down the unit with a damp cloth.
3.
Wash the removable filter carefully using soap and warm water.
Always use care to prevent damaging the filter mesh.
4.
After it has cooled completely, wash the Carafe by hand with soap
and warm water.
CAUTION: DO NOT PUT THE CARAFE THROUGH EXTREME CHANGES
IN TEMPERATURE: i.e. PLACING A HOT CARAFE INTO FREEZING
WATER. DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE CARAFE AND COULD LEAD
TO PERSONAL INJURY, ALWAYS ALLOW IT TO COOL COMPLETELY
BEFORE CLEANING.
DESCALING:
1. When de-scaling, operate the appliance twice using a mixture of one part
white vinegar and one part water to fill the water reservoir tank and let unit
run as usual.
2. Run the unit twice more with only water to rinse away the remaining scale
and vinegar.
