SLOW COOKING:
If you wish to use the Roaster Oven in a Slow Cooking mode, it is recommended to use with less
expensive and tender cuts of meat. Heat is more gradual with slow cooking. It isn't necessary to stir
during the slow cooking cycle. Avoid removing the lid often or this may result in the loss of heat
during cooking therefore, making cooking time longer. When using a standard recipe, slow cook 1½
hours for every 30 minutes. Slow cook using the 250°F temperature setting.
BAKING:
1. When baking inside the Roaster Oven, always use the Roasting Rack at the bottom of the oven.
Always place any baking pans on top of the rack. CAUTION: Never place pans directly on the bottom
of the Roaster Oven.
2. It is recommended to use metal pans in the Roaster Oven for they provide better heat transfer and
even browning.
3. It is recommended to heat the Roaster Oven before baking.

POLARIZED PLUG
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug
(one blade is wider than
the other), please follow the below
instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this
plug is intended to fit into a polarized

fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try
reversing the plug.

If an extension cord is used: (1) the
marked electrical rating of the extension

extension cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the countertop
or tabletop where it can unintentionally
be pulled on or tripped over by children
or pets.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a
qualified technician. Never use the
plug with an extension cord unless the
plug can be fully inserted into the
