How to assemble the 3B Scientific® Muscle Figure
To ensure that even smallest anatomical details are represented as accurately as possible, we chose to
manufacture this figure out of a special high-quality plastic. This material is a little more sensitive compa-
red to ordinary materials. We therefore ask you to proceed carefully during the assembly and disassembly
of the figure and follow these steps:
Work with a partner when assembling the figure.
Unpack the following partially assembled model parts:
• Torso body with skin arm and leg (includes internal organs, chest wall and neck muscle)
• Muscular upper leg with gluteal muscle
• Muscular lower leg
• Muscle arm
• Head
• 1 genital insert
• Base with washer and wing nut
• Cover a table with a soft cloth and place the torso body with skin arm and skin leg onto the table. The
skin leg should protrude slightly (approx. 10-20 cm) from the table edge.
• Slide the base with the hole over the threaded bolt protruding from the foot and fasten it with the washer
and wing nut.
• 2 of the 4 rollers under the base are equipped with brakes. Please lock these during assembly.
• Carefully raise the figure.
• Connect the muscular upper leg (without gluteal muscle) with the muscular lower leg and fasten both
retaining hooks at the knee. Attach the assembled muscular leg to the pelvis using the guide pin.
• Now insert the gluteal muscle into the guide hole from the top.
• Attach the muscular arm to the shoulder using the guide pin and fasten the retaining hook.
• Place the head onto the neck using both connecting pins.
• Remove the wrapping material inserted between the individual model parts in order to protect the pain-
ted surfaces during transport.
