PROGRAMMING
Configuration of the XR100 module consists of TWO PHASES:
SYSTEM CODE CONFIGURATION
!
NOTE: : in Master mode, the system code entered into the XR100 must also be entered into the XR152 detectors,
XR200 sensors, XR20 radio controls, XR300 sirens and into any XR100 Slave units.
Write down the following system code, made up of a sequence of the numbers "0" and "1":
In Slave mode, the System Code entered into the XR100 must also be entered into the XR400 or XR500 base unit or
into the XR100 Master module either alone or linked to the TM or PROTEC wired base units.
To open the System Code configuration:
-
Press and hold the two buttons until both LEDs are lit, then release;
-
enter the 18-digit binary System Code.
Entering "1" (left button) illuminates the green LED, while entering "0" (right button)
illuminates the red LED. After entering all 18 digits, both LEDs will light up
simultaneously and the changes will be activated.
If the code transmission is interrupted for more than 30 seconds, the XR100 module
will automatically exit configuration without changing any of the codes stored in the
memory.
NOTE: the System Code set at the factory is a sequence made up entirely of
the number "0"; this code is unusable. If the you enter a code made up entirely
of the number "1" or "0", the XR100 module will illuminate the two LEDs
simultaneously as an error signal and will reject the code.
!
SETTING OPERATING PARAMETERS
-
Press and hold the left button until the green LED lights up
(around 5 seconds), then release it;
-
When then green LED goes out, the XR100 module is ready for the 13-bit configuration, which control the
operating parameters.
Entering "1" (left button) illuminates the green LED, while entering "0" (right button) illuminates the red LED. After
entering all 13 digits, both LEDs will light up simultaneously and the changes will be activated.
If the code transmission is interrupted for more than 30 seconds, the XR100 module will show a series of flashes and
then automatically exit configuration without changing any of the parameters stored in the memory.
