1. Introduction & Features
Thank you for buying the TRCV2! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual or by user modifications is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• When radio transmission is decreasing, replace the batteries.
• Remove all batteries when the TRCV2 is not going to be used for a longer period of time.
• Only use the TRCV2 in safe circumstances, not on roads, on sand, in crowded places or near water.
• Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from moving wheels.
• Keep this manual for future reference.

4. Batteries
• For the remote control: 8 x 1.5V AA batteries (order code LR6C – not included).
• For the car: 1 x 7.2V 2000mAh (6SC2000C) or 3000mAh (6SC3000C) battery pack (not included).
Appropriate chargers for these packs are VL1000T (12Vdc input) and VL6168 (mains input).
• Make sure both the remote control and the car are powered off (fig. 1 #3 + fig. 2 #6).
• Car: open the battery compartment latch (fig.2 #3), remove the cover (fig.2 #3), connect a charged 7.2V Ni-Cd
battery pack to the connector (fig.2 #5), insert the battery pack into the battery compartment (fig.2 #1), put the
cover back and lock the latch.
• Remote control: slide off the cover of the battery compartment as in the figure to the right.
Put 8 AA batteries in the compartment ; respect the polarity. For better performance, alkaline
batteries are recommended. Do not mix battery types. Reposition the cover and close properly.
