4.2. Setting the date and time
1. Turn the rotary knob to set the year.
2. Press OK to confirm.
In the display the month will blink.
3. Turn the rotary knob to set the month.
4. Press OK to confirm.
In the display the day will blink.
5. Turn the rotary knob to set the day.
6. Press OK to confirm.
In the display the hour will blink.
7. Turn the rotary knob to set the hour.
8. Press OK to confirm.
In the display the minutes will blink.
9. Turn the rotary knob to set the minutes.
10. Press OK to confirm.
The valve rotates in the product and in the display
"ins" appears. The product is now ready to be
mounted on the radiator.
Please note!
!
• Do not press OK again before the product is
mounted on a radiator.
• If you wait too long to set up the date or the time,
the product assumes that this is set correctly. The
valve rotates in the product again.

Mounting and installation
Please note!
!
• First proceed with the steps of chapter 4 if you
have not done so.
• Do not press OK again before the product is
mounted on a radiator.
• The water from the heating system does not have
to be drained when you mount the product.
5.1. Preparation for mounting
• If present, remove the old tap of the radiator. Check
the manual or the manufacturer's website for an exact
description.
Please note! Turn off the tap before you remove it. To
!
do this, turn the tap counter clockwise.
• For mounting on a standard valve, follow the steps
in section 5.2, for a Danfoss valve, follow the steps in
section 5.3.
5.2. Mounting on a standard valve
1. Pull out the fixing ring until a "CLICK!"is heard.
2. Push the product on the radiator
3. Tighten the fixing ring by turning it clockwise
The product is now mounted on the radiator.
4. Press OK.
The valve control rotates out of the product. In the
display "AdA" appears.
When mounted properly, in the display the start screen
appears. When mounted incorrectly, an error code (F1,
F2 or F3) appears. See chapter "Malfunctions" for more
information.
5.3. Mounting on a Danfoss valve
First, determine which of the three Danfoss rings (RA/
RAV/RAVL) should be placed on the valve of the radiator.
Fix this ring and then place the heating controller.
Danfoss RA ring
• Place the RA ring on the valve of the radiator.
• Fix the RA ring using the supplied screw and nut.
Danfoss RAV ring
• Place the RAV cap on the valve of the radiator.
• Fix the RAV ring using the supplied screw and nut.
Danfoss RAVL ring
• Place the RAVL ring on the valve of the radiator.
1. Pull out the fixing ring until a "CLICK!" is heard.
2. Push the product on the radiator
3. Tighten the fixing ring by turning it clockwise
The product is now mounted on the radiator.
4. Press OK.
The valve control rotates out of the product. In the
display "AdA" appears.
When mounted properly, in the display the start screen
appears. When mounted incorrectly, an error code (F1,
F2 or F3) appears. See chapter "Malfunctions" for more
information.
5.4. Reinstallation of the heating controller
Perform the following steps to reinstall the heating
controller, without clearing the memory:
1. Press and hold the Menu button until "Pro" appears in
the display.
2. Select "INS" by turning the rotary knob.
3. Press OK.
The valve rotates in and out of the product to find the
correct adjustment. " AdA" appears in the display.

6.1. Setting the temperature manually
1. Turn the rotary knob (
temperature is shown in the display.
2. In the start screen, press the Menu button repeatedly
until "Manu" appears.
The manual temperature setting now applies.

1. Press and hold the Menu button until "Pro" appears in

2. Select "tEP" by turning the rotary knob.
3. Press OK.
For 30 seconds, the heating controller determines the
actual temperature.
4. Press OK to reset the heating controller to factory
settings. Press the Menu button to cancel.
6.3. Setting a high and low temperature
Please note! The low temperature should be lower

than the high temperature. Otherwise the setting will
not work.
