2) Using Push button Part # 40050U (or a commercially available switch) – FIG 2
Use input terminal JP7 inside the Control Panel.
In this case use a double throw momentary contact switch with central off. The open and close commands are
impulse commands.
When this type of operation is used, all the actuators are controlled simultaneously and the RC remote control
cannot be used.
3) Using a KP keypad + Push button Part # 40050U (or a commercially available switch)
Both types of keypad can be connected up.
CONTROL BY MEANS OF WEATHER AND/OR TEMPERATURE SENSORS – FIG 2
The Control Panel allows the connection to two sensors to detect meteorological events:
RAIN SENSOR RS (Part # 40450K) on terminal JP8
WIND SENSOR WS (Part # 37185V) on terminal JP9
and for checking the ambient temperature using THERMOSTAT TH (Part # 40675K) on terminal JP10.
Where fitted, the rain and wind sensors cause the actuators to close in consequence of any alarm state.
This is indicated on the unit's front panel by a red LED LIGHTS switching on. These sensors can be disabled
using the ON-OFF selector switch.
Once these sensors have operated the closing, unless they are disabled as indicated above, it is not possible to
control the actuators manually until 8 minutes after the end of the event.
Wind sensor: it is possible to choose the wind speed for the close command using the 7-position rotating selector
switch on the circuit board.
When this switch is turned to 0 the wind sensor is disabled, while positions 1 to 7 correspond to the force of the
wind on the Beaufort scale. This selector is set to position "3" in the factory.

Where fitted, the thermostat enjoys precedence over manual control. If the ambient temperature rises above the
set temperature the actuators will be opened, when it is below the set temperature they will be closed.
To disable the thermostat turn the relevant selector switch.
