• Lay your baby to sleep on his or her back
unless your doctor has prescribed otherwise
and make sure that your child is not too
warmly dressed. Too soft or poor circulating
bedding may obstruct breathing and should
therefore not be used. When placing your
baby in the cocoon ensure that he or she is
wrapped snugly and cannot slip too far under
the cover.
• There are D-rings located on each side of the
mattress to fit an additional safety harness.
Ensure that the harness conforms to BS
6684 regulations.
