BEFORE USING PRODUCT, READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

IMPORTANT
This booklet is NOT a reference to surgical techniques but a supporting material for
the use of this product, which was designed, tested and produced merely for single
patient use. The product is not reusable so it is shall NOT be reprocessed or
resterilized due to the risks of failure, patient injury, contamination as well as patient
infection.
DESCRIPTION
The Cutter Stapler CAAB is available in 30, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 90 mm staple line
lengths for use in different applications. Stapler is featured with perfect osculating
capacity. Product and components shall be sterile; the residual amount of ethylene
oxide after the sterilization shall lower than 10ug/g.
INDICATIONS
It is applicable to the reconstruction of the digestive tract with the difficulties of
exposing the operative eye, the reconstruction of anastomotic stoma after the visceral
resections and the closure of an incision or stump.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
1. This medical instrument shall not be applied to the position where the surgical
stapler nails are disabled;
2. It shall not be applied to the tissues where the instrument can be closed with great
difficulties;
3. It shall not be applied to the ischemic or necrotic tissues;
4. It shall not be applied to the aorta, coronary artery, carotid artery, pulmonary artery,
pulmonary vein or any other great vessels, nor superior vena cava, inferior vena cava,
common iliac artery, internal iliac artery and vein, external iliac artery and vein and
brachiocephalic artery trunk;
5. It shall not be applied to the vaginal vault.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
1. The application of this product shall subject to the general principles of stapler;
2. Cutter stapler shall be handled with care, free from any collision or knock. During
the disassembly, assembly of cutter staplers, no metal products shall be used for
wiping, scratching, knock and other hazard operations.
