These instructions offer many hints and suggestions about how
to discover, with your child, the wooden parts and use them for
different game ideas. In this way, different skills are fostered: fine
motor skills, concentration, careful observation, as well as assigning
colors and shapes. But first and foremost playing will be a lot of fun!
Learning happens through playing, almost effortlessly.

Game Idea #1: Pegging and classifying
In free play your child can explore the different sorting blocks and
the sorting box. Play with your child! Show him the different holes
and the matching sorting blocks. Let him freely explore.
For the classifying game the two lids showing a racing car are slid
face up into the sorting box: place the sliding lid with the holes in
the upper rail and the lid showing the racing car driver in the lower
rail.
Turn the blocks so that the child can see the motifs printed on
them. Now he can sort the blocks into the holes.
When your child has finished sorting the blocks pull out the lower
lid in one fell swoop while keeping the upper lid in place with
your thumb. All the blocks will fall down and the pegging fun can
start all over again. When pulling the lid it may happen that the
blocks jam slightly between the lids, just tilt the box slightly.
Now the lid can be pulled out again.
