All about batteries/rechargeable batteries:

Use alkaline batteries for best performance and longer life.
•
Use only the battery type recommended for the unit.
•
Batteries must only be replaced by an adult.
•
Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
•
Do not mix different types of batteries or old and new batteries.
•
Do not short-circuit batteries.
•
Do not mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
•
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging.
•
Rechargeable batteries are to be recharged only under adult supervision.
•
When the product is not used for an extended time, switch button to "OFF" position for longer battery life
time. We also recommend removing batteries to prevent possible leakage and damage to the unit.
•
If moisture gets into the battery compartment, dry with a cloth.
•
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and taken to special waste collection point.
Function:
To activate the Baby Annabell® functions, switch the switch inside battery compartment to ON. Once switched on,
Baby Annabell® makes baby sounds.
Baby Annabell® is like a real baby, with realistic baby sounds and cute facial expression.
Baby Annabell® can:

drink real water from her bottle, with realistic mouth movement and opens and closes her eyes. After
drinking, Baby Annabell® "burps" when you pat her back .
If you do not pat her back, Baby Annabell® cries for a while and will not "burp". After she cries five times,
Baby Annabell® automatically goes back to baby babble language.
Important:
Please feed Baby Annabell® only with clean water!!!
When feeding the doll, insert the bottle properly into the mouth opening. Please notice that the doll is not
able to suck water. The water needs to be fed by pressing the bottle. A repeated pressing and releasing of
the pressure on the bottle supports the drinking. It helps to fill the tank inside the doll gradually.

Energy saving mode / ending energy saving mode:
If nobody is playing with Baby Annabell® for a while, she will fall asleep, the speech and movement mechanism
will automatically switch off. When you give Baby Annabell® her bottle or her dummy, she will wake up and make
baby sounds again. Baby Annabell® can be also activated by setting the switch from "ON" to "OFF" and back to
"ON".
