• For "Nikon" version, the Second Curtain Sync (Rear-
curtain sync) is not controlled from the Viper TTL. To
enable Second Curtain Sync set in the camera menu to
Rear-curtain sync. Refer to camera manual for more info

Press and hold the <SEL>
while you switch on the transmitter. The battery indicator

will flash. Turn Adjust Dial

Always ON feature. When Always ON the Viper TTL is
permanently transmitting a signal.
Battery Level

The transmitter LCD shows the level of the battery for
the transmitter
•
To check the receiver battery level, check LED
which flashes green to indicate normal power

in hot shoe

• For the Nikon version group (M) is controlled by the
setting of the camera and not controlled by any of the
Viper TTL groups
DCM Digital Channel Matching
•
Open channel - When you use the Viper TTL for the
first time, the 2.4GHz wireless connection is using a
default "open channel". This allows several transmitters
to individually control the same selection of receivers.
The "open channel" can be useful when using several
cameras with the same lighting system. But it is also
more prone to other outside interferences
•
DCM - Digital Channel Matching is a more secure
coded wireless system which will avoid any external
interference between Viper TTL transmitter and
receiver. Carry out the following set up to match all
Viper TTL - English
