from improper use.
Definition of measurement
categories
Measurement category II
Measurement category II is applicable to test and
measuring circuits connected directly to utilization
points (socket outlets and similar points) of the low-
voltage mains installation. Typical short-circuit current
is < 10kA
Measurement category III
Measurement category III is applicable to test and
measuring circuits connected to the distribution part
of the building's low-voltage mains installation. Typi-
cal short-circuit current is < 50kA
Measurement category IV
Measurement category IV is applicable to test and
measuring circuits connected at the source of the
building's low-voltage mains installation. Typical
short-circuit current is >>50kA

Operation
Thank you for purchasing the Test Plus.
Contact-free Voltage Test
The Test Plus is able to seek live wires out with the
circuit integrated in the tip. When recognizing an
alternating voltage of 110 V AC, the white cap [1]
flashes up red and a warning tone rings out.
Note
Depending on the type of material,
occasional short beeping of the warn-
ing signal may occur because of the
electrostatic charging (friction) that is
caused by clothing or through other
objects!
In order to be able to seek out tensions under
110 V AC, you switch the flashlight [3] on. Now,
alternating voltages can be recognized starting from
12 V AC. A current flow is not necessary!
Torch lamp
Switch on the integrated flashlight [3] by pressing
the knob. With the high efficient LED an illumi-
nated period of up to 60 hours (per battery set)
is attainable! The life span of the LED is more than
100,000 hours.
Change Batteries
Take a screwdriver and lever out the battery
case [2] at the indentation.
Note
Pay attention when inserting the new
batteries to the polarity!
Maintenace/care
For cleaning the unit, use a dry cloth.
