Keep all the power cables out of the cutting
area. Power cables or lines can be hidden in
hedges or bushes and may be accidentally cut
by the blade .
Do not use the hedge trimmer in bad weather,
especially if there is a risk of lightning strike.
This reduces the risk of being struck by lightning .

Additional safety instructions

Do not use any additional equipment or attach-
ments with the hedge trimmer .
Check whether there are any foreign objects
in the hedges and bushes to be sheared, such
as wire fencing etc. Foreign objects can
damage the hedge trimmer .
We recommend connecting the appliance to a
socket outlet with a residual current device with
a rated residual current not exceeding 30 mA .
